My favourite Venues in 2024

Now I am in the mid of the 2025 wedding season, its crazy to think I will be shooting at 10 new wedding venues this year, across the UK.

It got me started reflecting on 2024! It flew by and I didn’t really appreciate all the amazing venues I shot at. Here are my favourites from 2024.

Sparth House - A beautiful Georgian Manor house in Lancashire, great one stop venue where your guests can also stay. The front of the Manor is also a great spot for couple & formal photos, rain or shine.

Stockport Town Hall - One of the most beautiful ‘registry’ office buildings in the Manchester area. You can go big or small, there is an appropriate room to tailor to your ceremony size. I have returned to this venue since December 2024. You can’t beat the interior, or your wedding photos.

Okay this isn’t an official ‘wedding venue’, it is a private church amongst farmland in Shropshire. But it was one of my favourite weddings ever!! It is just prove that you don’t need to spend £100000 or have 100 people on your guest list. The more intimate, making the day more special.

Rylands Farmhouse & Tipi - Tipi venues are on the rise around the north west/cheshire area, and I can see their appeal! Rylands have plenty of rooms to stay on site, and you will be able to slowly walk over to your ceremony, which is held in a TIPI!

Manchester Art Gallery - I’ve been lucky to photograph a couple of times at Manchester Art Gallery and you can’t get enough how sophisticated and chic this city centre wedding venue is! Your guests can dance, mingle, drink and chat in all the different rooms, surrounded by famous art! And this is one venue you don’t really need to think about decor!!

2024 was a fab year! I am looking forward to sharing my favourites from 2025.

xx

Emma & Rich

Emma and Rich got married on Saturday 12th August, at Haydock Park Golf Club. It was a lovely wholesome day and I felt part of the family instantly. I arrived to the bridal prep, a busy hotel room at the Mecure, a room bustling with nerves and excitement. It was a lovely couple of hours capturing the bridal party in the process of getting ready.

Emma and Rich booked me through a recommendation. When I arrived to Haydock Park Golf club, it was lovely to find some familiar faces from a previous wedding the year before. But before anyone entered the ceremony room, I am managed to get some venue details. The room was all set up with amazing decor that Emma had made herself running up to the big day.

Like I said at the start, I quickly felt like one of the family and thoroughly enjoyed the day with Emma and Rich. It was such a fun wedding day filled with laughter and very good vibes! So happy Emma and Rich chose me to photograph their wedding.
